Photograph of a painting of a self portrait of the artist Adriaen Hanneman. The artist is shown half-length. He is seated in a chair with the chair's back facing the viewer. The sitter places his left arm over the back of the chair and turns his head to gaze at the viewer.
At the time of the photograph, the painting was in the collection of Sir H. H. Campbell. The work is now in the collection of the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam.
