Photograph of a painting of a full length depiction of the Virgin Mary and Christ Child. The Virgin Mary stands in a niche. She holds the Christ Child near her face.
At the time of the photograph, the painting was attributed to Jan van Eyck (1390-1441). The painting's creator is now unknown and the work is in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York.
