Photograph of the painting 'The Sleeping Cavalier' by Jacob Ochtervelt (1634-82). The painting depicts a male asleep, slumped on a table. A woman leans over the man, placing something beneath his nose. Behind the man, a child crouches, holding a bugle to his mouth. There is a dog in the foreground, on the left.

At the time of the photograph, the painting was in the collection of J. Walter. The painting is now in the collection of the Manchester Art Gallery.
