This pencil drawing with watercolour wash is inscribed below the pasted down sheet: Our Mausoleum Frogmore - 1865. Both Albert and Victoria's effigies were made at the same time by Carlo Marochetti. Queen Victoria regularly visited the Mausoleum and her body was placed alongside that of her husband after her death in January 1901.
