A print reproducing the composition of a drawing by Raphael (c.1512-3) now in the Devonshire Collection, Chatsworth House (inv. no.728). Laid down on a backing sheet. In his Raphael Collection catalogue (1876), Ruland attributed the print to an anonymous artist of the school of Marcantonio Raimondi. A photograph of the original drawing by Raphael can be found at RCIN 851282.

The photograph shows the full-length Virgin, seated on a chair, in profile to the right, holding a book and supporting the Young Christ who stands by her side and looks at the beholder; in an interior.
