A facsimile etching of a drawing attributed on plate to Raphael. J.A. Gere suggested that the original may be by Giovanni Battista Franco, called Il Semolei (according to signed undated note on the mount). According to the lettering on the print, the drawing was then in 'the collection of Udeval Price, Esq.' (probably Sir Uvedale Price, 1747-1829). Lettered with production details.
