A print after a painting by M. de Boijs (Mattheus Boys), based on a composition traditionally ascribed to Raphael, for a very similar drawing of this subject attributed to the master survives in the Louvre (inv. no.3949). Lettered with production details.
Showing the full-length seated Virgin holding the Christ Child on her lap with both arms, with the crouched St Elizabeth and the Infant Baptist presenting the Child with a bird on the right; in an interior with a window on the right.
