A photograph of a drawing by Raphael in the British Museum (inv.no.1997.0712.74). In his Raphael Collection catalogue (1876), Ruland listed the drawing as being then in the collection of William Russell, Esq.

The photograph shows two studies for a composition of the Virgin with the Child; the artist made numerous drawings for Virgin and Child compositions.
