An outline-etching after a painting formerly in the possession of Count Carlo di Castelbarco, Milan, which later entered the collection of Prince Heinrich von Preußen Collection, Castle Reinhartshausen. Its current whereabouts is unknown. Frontispiece to 'Notizie sopra un dipinto di Raffaele rappresentante la Sacra Famiglia in riposo, posseduto dalla nobile famiglia di Castelbarco', Milan 1842. Lettered with the title and production details.
The painting is a copy of Raphael’s ‘Holy Family with the Lamb’ (1507) now in the Museo Nacional del Prado, Madrid (inv. no.P 296). See RCIN 850778 for a photograph of the painting.
