An outline-etching reproducing a composition attributed on plate to Raphael. Lettered with production details and titles. Published in C.P. Landon, Vie et Œuvre complète de Raphaël Sanzio, 1803, plate 332.

The composition, known through an engraving by an anonymous artist (see Tauriscus 1819, p.161, no.20), has been associated with the so-called La Perla, a painting now in the Museo del Prado in Madrid (inv. no.301), generally attributed to Giulio Romano possibly after a design by Raphael. For a photograph of La Perla, see RCIN 851004.
.
The print shows the full-length Virgin, seated to right, supporting the Christ Child with both hands who stands on the cradle with His left foot and is presented with some fruit by the Infant Baptist; the Virgin is observed by the bearded St Joseph who is seated at right, and a female figure is visible in the right background; a view of hilly landscape with a mill and a donkey.
