An engraving after a lost design by Raphael dating from c.1507-08. Signed on plate with empty tablet at lower left.

The print shows the three-quater length seated Virgin suckling the Christ Child whom she holds on her lap, with St Joseph looking on at right; in an interior with a curtain draped behind them.
