Glass plate negative showing William Theed's statue of Princess Victoria, Duchess of Kent, created in 1864 (RCIN 60770). The duchess is presented standing, leaning against pedestal and holding a rose. The statue is placed on a octagonal pedestal, located in the Duchess's Mausoleum.
The glass plate negative has been photographed showing the coated side and therefore the image appears laterally reversed. Prints form this negative do not seem to exist in the Collection.
