Unidentified man

Glass plate negative of a nearly full length portrait of an unidentified man, possibly Thomas Bachelor (Page of the Back Stairs), seated sideways on a chair. The sitter faces three-quarters to the right and turns his head to look at the left. He rests one hand on his hip and the other on the back of the chair.
The glass plate negative has been photographed showing the coated side and therefore the image appears laterally reversed. Prints from this negative do not seem to exist in the Collection.
