Glass plate negative of a double portrait of The Comte d'Eu, later Prince Gaston of Orleans (1842-1922), and Prince Ferdinand, Duc d'Alencon (1844-1910) seated on a bench on the terrace at Osborne House. 

The glass plate negative has been photographed showing the coated side and therefore the image appears laterally reversed. A print of this work exists in the Royal Collection, RCIN 2906119.
