Stone balustrade under construction
c. 1864RCIN 2084217
Glass plate negative of a stone post, possibly part of the balustrade of the Royal Mausoleum in Frogmore. At the time of the photograph the balustrade was under construction and timber scaffolding surrounds the structure.
The glass plate negative has been photographed showing the coated side and therefore the image appears laterally reversed. Prints from this negative do not seem to exist in the Collection.
