Glass plate negative of a group of Ghillies including George Gordon (on left) and Charles Coutts (third from the right) grouped around a tree with a dead stag shot by the Prince Consort in Corrie Buie.

The glass plate negative has been photographed showing the coated side and therefore the image appears laterally reversed. Prints form this negative do not seem to exist in the Collection, however a variant from the same sitting is represented by RCIN 2906176.
