Glass plate negative featuring four full-length portraits of Queen Victoria (1819-1901) posing with her granddaughter Princess Charlotte of Prussia (1860-1919) and daughter Princess Beatrice (1857-1944). The queen wears mourning clothing and poses with her arms around the two young girls.

The glass plate negative has been photographed showing the coated side and therefore the image appears laterally reversed. A print from the bottom right image of this negative exists in the Collection, RCIN 2914317.
