Glass plate negative featuring two full-length double portraits of Prince Alfred and the Duchess of Kent. Both figures are shown standing, facing each other and holding hands. Photographs taken in Buckingham Palace.

The glass plate negative has been photographed showing the coated side and therefore the image appears laterally reversed. Prints from both images exist in the Collection, RCINs 2513468 and 2513472.
