Glass plate negative of a full length portrait of Princess Louise standing, facing three-quarters to the right. She looks forward, away from the camera and poses with her hands held together in front of her. She is positioned beside an ornamental balustrade and drapery.

The glass plate negative has been photographed showing the coated side and therefore the image appears laterally reversed. A print form this negative exists in the the Collection, RCIN 2900340.
