Glass plate negative of a full length portrait of Princess Beatrice seated on a lounge, facing towards the camera. She turns her head halfway to the right and looks ahead. She holds a hat trimmed with feathers in her hands, placing it on her lap. She places her legs beside her, to her right. The lounge is draped with a patterned fabric. There is a striped shawl positioned beside the princess.

The glass plate negative has been photographed showing the coated side and therefore the image appears laterally reversed.  At leatst two from this negative exist in the Collection, RCIN 2900505.
