Princess Beatrice (1857-1944)
May 1860RCIN 2082603
Glass plate negative of a full length portrait of Princess Beatrice seated on a chair, facing three-quarters to the right. She turns her head towards the camera and looks to the left. With her feet crossed, she places one hand on the chair arm rest and teh other hand on her lap.
The glass plate negative has been photographed showing the coated side and therefore the image appears laterally reversed. Prints from this negative do not seem to exist in the Collection, however a variant from the same sitting is represented by RCIN 2900311.
