Glass plate negative of a three-quarter length portrait of Prince Nikolaus Wilhelm of Nassau (1832-1905), seated, facing three-quarters to the left. He wears a large bow tie and holds an ornamental walking stick.

The glass plate negative has been photographed showing the coated side and therefore the image appears laterally reversed. A print from this negative exists in the Collection, RCIN 2906569.
