RCIN 2082713

Glass plate negative featuring two full-length double portraits of Princess Alice and Prince Louis. Princess Alice is seated, facing towards the camera. She holds her hands together in front of her waist. Prince Louis stands beside his future wife, placing one hand on the back of her chair and looking down at her. He holds a cane in the other hand.

The glass plate negative has been photographed showing the coated side and therefore the image appears laterally reversed. A print from right image exists in the Collection, RCIN 2900420.
