Glass plate negative featuring two full-length group portraits of Prince Alfred, the Duchess of Kent and Princess Alice. The Duchess is seated at the centre of the group, her grandchildren standing either side. She is shown holding hands with Princess Alice who stands on the far left. Photographs taken in Buckingham Palace.
The glass plate negative has been photographed showing the coated side and therefore the image appears laterally reversed. Prints from both images exist in the Collection, RCINs 2513466 and 2513467.
