Glass plate negative of a full length portrait of Prince Albert, Prince Consort. The prince stands next to a covered table and faces to the right, his face captured in profile. He holds an object, perhaps a booklet, on the table in his right hand, while his left hand hangs by his side.
The glass plate negative has been photographed showing the coated side and therefore the image appears laterally reversed. A print from this negative exists in the Collection, RCIN 2914940.
