Glass plate negative of Queen Victoria, Prince Albert, Victoria, Princess Royal, Prince Alfred and Prince George, Duke of Cambridge arriving by boat at Osborne, Isle of Wight following the departure of the Emperor and Empress of France. The group arrive at a jetty.

The glass plate negative has been photographed showing the coated side and therefore the image appears laterally reversed. A print from this negative exists in the Collection, RCIN 2800784.
