1855

RCIN 2083084

Photograph of full length portrait of the Jäger Edward Coley (1817-93) seated on a wooden chair, facing left. He turns his head towards the camera and gazes downwards. He poses with his right arm over the back of the chair. The dogs Deckel and Dandie are seated by his feet.

The glass plate negative has been photographed showing the coated side and therefore the image appears laterally reversed. A print from this negative (RCIN 2906633) can be found in the Collection.
