H. Dudley, Park Keeper
1864RCIN 2083799
Glass plate negative featuring four portraits of H. Dudley, Park Keeper at Windsor Great Park. He is shown standing or seated, holding a rifle and dressed in a velvet coat with gold trimming. Apart from the bottom right portrait, Dudley wears a top hat. All images were taken at the photographer's studio.
H. Dudley was appointed Park Keeper in April 1843.
The glass plate negative has been photographed showing the coated side and therefore the image appears laterally reversed. Prints from this negative do not seem to exist in the Collection, however a variant is represented by RCIN 2910328.
