H. Dudley, Park Keeper
1864RCIN 2083797
Glass plate negative featuring four full-length portraits of H. Dudley, Park Keeper at Windsor Great Park. He is shown standing, holding a rifle and dressed in a velvet coat decorated with gold trimming and a top hat. All images were taken at the photographer's studio.
H. Dudley was appointed Park Keeper in April 1843.
The glass plate negative has been photographed showing the coated side and therefore the image appears laterally reversed. Prints from this negative do not seem to exist in the Collection, apart from the bottom right which is represented by RCIN 2910328.
