Glass plate negative of a full-length group portrait of  seven men standing in front of a building. The men are, from right to left, Major-General Robert Bruce, F. W. Gibbs, Major General Christopher Charles Teesdale, Prince Albert Edward of Wales, Dr. Ernest Becker, Henry Ponsoby and General Charles Grey. Photograph taken at Balmoral.

The glass plate negative has been photographed showing the coated side and therefore the image appears laterally reversed. A print from this negative exists in the Collection, RCIN 2800818.
