1851-61RCIN 2084702
Glass plate negative of a crowd gathered on a hill to watch a cavalry parade, military review or procession driving through the foreground. The horses are either not registered or appear blurred due to fast movement. Various senior officers and possibly members of the Royal Household, including women, are visible on horseback in the middle ground. They are surrounded by men, women and children in formal day dress standing or seated in their carriages.
