Glass plate negative of a full-length group portrait of Mrs Edward Cowley with her arms around her two children Victoria and Arthur. Mrs Cowley is seated and flanked by her son and daughter who stand beside her.

The glass plate negative has been photographed showing the coated side and therefore the image appears laterally reversed. Prints from this negative do not seem to exist in the Collection, however a variant is represented by RCIN 2906676.
