Minutes of a meeting of certain members of the Society of Arts at Buckingham Palace on 30 July 1849 at which Prince Albert discussed his ideas for an exhibition in 1851. He suggests a classification scheme. Possible sites are discussed and Prince Albert suggests Hyde Park, plus the collection of subscriptions and the issuing of a Royal Commission (printed at RC/H/1/1/13) [NB error in dating].
