Letter enclosing a personal letter and report from Colonel Lloyd (see RC/H/1/4/12 ). Lord Granville states that he had warned Colonel Lloyd to be careful when dealing with the working classes. Also covers the lectures regarding the Exhibition, Granville's Bill to protect Exhibitors [patents] and mentions that Seymour met them on most points though he would not allow the tree to be cut down.
