Addington, Foreign Office, to Stafford Northcote transmitting copies of two despatches and their enclosures from HM Consuls at Hamburgh and Marseilles regarding publicity for the 1851 Exhibition. (10i) Copy of a letter to Lord Palmerston, from Francis Macgregor, reporting on actions taken to promote the proposed Exhibition in Hamburgh. (10ii) Copy of a letter to Francis Macgregor, from C.H. Merch, confirming receipt of information regarding the Commission and the intention to form a Committee. (10iii) Copy of a letter to Lord Palmerston, from Alex Turnbull, acknowledging receipt of circular and of intentions to promote the Exhibition.
