Addington, Foreign Office, to Stafford Northcote transmitting copies of a despatch and its enclosure reporting Sir Stratford Canning's communication with the Ottoman Minister concerning the Exhibition. (47i) Despatch from Sir Stratford Canning to the Ottoman Minister, regarding the appointment of the Commission for the Exhibition and detailing their requirements. (47ii) Letter from Sir Stratford Canning to Lord Palmerston reporting that he had communicated information of the Exhibition with the Ottoman Minister.
