A volume recording Prince Albert's hunting activities from 1842 until the year of his death in 1861. The register is divided by year and then further by month. The date of the hunt, where it took place, numbers of different animals killed and a total for the year were recorded. At the end of each year recorded are blank spaces. A loose note in the register explains that they were 'intended for photographs of the places where animals were killed and of the heads when in possession'.
