      'The Morning Chronicle' article titled 'The female slop-workers of the Metropolis, reporting on proceedings of a meeting of female slopworkers held at the British Schoolroom, Shakespeare-walk, Shadwell on 3 December 1849. Reported that it was also attended by Lord Ashley and Sidney Herbert.
