Memorandum of George Anson's conversation with Lady Isabella Blachford about Osborne in which he informed her of Queen Victoria's decision to decline her Lady Blachford's original valuation, which she believes is too high and will be combined with the heavy outlay necessary for the Barton Estate. He reports on Lady Blachford's reply in which she states that she is looking out for the interests of herself and her daughter, and that she does not want to change her original position. Anson also records that she sees that the Queen is willing to 'deal on fair term' and will give an answer about letting as soon as possible.
