Letter from William Hookham Carpenter, the Keeper of Prints and Drawings at the British Museum, to Dr. Ernst Becker naming Dr. Henry Wellesley as the owner of a Raphael sketch.

Carpenter writes that he has discovered that the engraving by C.G. Lewis which Becker showed him is from a sketch of the 'Virgin and Child' by Raphael owned by Dr Wellesley of Oxford.
