Letter from the Dean of Christ Church, Oxford, to Charles Ruland as to photographing the College's Raphael drawings for the Prince Consort.
8 May 1861Loose manuscript paper; mounted | 1 document (4 pages) (whole object) | RA VIC/ADDA10/85/161
Liddell writes that he is sure the Chapter will agree to allow the Raphael drawings at the College to be photographed for the Prince. He comments that there will be no need to go through the whole drawings portfolio, as all the genuine Raphael drawings have been taken out and glazed. He hopes copies of the photographs will be given to the College.
