Letter from the British Minister in Madrid to Dr Ernst Becker enclosing a memorandum on the paintings by Raphael of which the Prince Consort wishes to obtain photographs.

Buchanan encloses a memorandum (see VIC/ADDA10/85/309) from Mr Lumley about the Raphael pictures of which the Prince wishes to have photographs. The Director of the Madrid Museum being unable to grant authority for the photography, Buchanan will ask the Marquis de St Ysabel for this on the latter's return to Madrid.
