21 Jun 1857Loose manuscript paper; mounted | 1 document (4 pages) (whole object) | RA VIC/ADDA10/85/349
Eastlake states that he encloses the drawing by Raphael belonging to Mr Harzen, which the latter has sent to him and which has not yet been photographed. He also encloses Harzen's note (see VIC/ADDA10/85/348) saying that once the photograph has been taken, the drawing can be returned to him while he is in London. Eastlake asks Becker to acknowledge receipt of the drawing. He also draws attention to a letter he wrote to Colonel Phipps, forwarded to Becker, concerning the portrait of the Marquis of Mantua.
