Bingham thanks Dr. Becker for his enquiries; his eyes have recovered but his doctor would not allow him to work for two months and ordered sea bathing. He is now working again and has to finish photographing Ary Scheffer's pictures in a few days' time; he has also photographed those of Paul Delaroche. He promises to carry out Dr. Becker's order next, and asks how many copies he requires. He adds that he will be glad to do the required photography in Lille next month.
