Munro acknowledges receipt of the photographs of his pictures by Raphael, and thanks the Prince Consort for them. He thinks the photograph of the Madonna with the Legend very successful, and says that the Madonna dei Candelabri will always be at the Prince's disposal, should advances in photography make it possible to achieve a closer photograph of it.
