Letter from Lord Grey to Prince Albert reporting that Sir Rupert George has lost the post of Colonial Secretary in Nova Scotia on the establishment of 'Responsible Government' and recommends him for the Order of the Bath. He also states that there are four members of the French Canadian party in Lord Elgin's Council and fortunately they had been appointed before the news of the French Revolution reached Canada.
