Lord Aberdeen writes of his hesitation over accepting Queen Victoria's offer due to his connection to his home in Scotland, but suggests it may be of interest to his son or daughter. He also encloses a copy of a letter (not present) to Count Nesselrode. A note on this document reads 'Probably has to do with offer of rangership of Greenwich Park.'
