Lord Monteagle comments on affairs in Ireland. He describes fires opposite his windows in the county of Clare and a rumour regarding Daniel O'Connell and the Duchess of Kent. He states that he believes the biggest mistake of the repeal association was to appoint arbitrators and also mentions that his cottager tenant is a Repeal Warden. Copy.
