Lord Brougham sends by command of the [Diffusion of] Useful Knowledge Society, the first volume of their Great Biographical Dictionary for acceptance by Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. He also mentions that he will soon forward proof sheets of the new volume of 'Political Philosophy' and requests for the volume to be dedicated to Queen Victoria.
