Letter from Lord Aberdeen to Prince Albert

Lord Aberdeen returns the King of Portugal's letter (not present) and refers to the project of assuming command of the army. He further writes that it is doubtful whether the 'Tariff negotiation' between England and Portugal will be successful. Lord Aberdeen encloses letters he has written to Lord Howard and the Duke of Palmella (not present), and also refers to M. de Neumann and the Insignia of the Order.
